We’re partnering with the lovely folks at Block Church, Starfinder Foundation, Tabor Services, Northern Children Services, and NorthLight Community Center for this event. DBHIDS Sponsored Trauma 101 Training 833 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA, United StatesThis course introduces trauma theory, beginning with understanding the brain/body stress response, and then exploring the short- and long-term impact of adversity, toxic stress and trauma. We include discussion of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) research, Historical Trauma and Social Determinants of distress as well as buffering factors and resiliency.
