We include discussion of the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) research, Historical Trauma and Social Determinants of distress as well as buffering factors and resiliency. We include strategies and introduction to specific tools for supporting service recipients’ recovery from trauma, as well as strategies for managing vicarious trauma among peer service providers. This training will include the opportunity to begin to practice relevant trauma-informed skills. This course will be held virtually via Zoom.
