"Wellness Recovery Action Plan® (WRAP) is an evidence-based practice developed by the Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery. Trauma-Informed De-Escalation Training *CEU*
This training explores the relationship between stress, crisis, trauma, and toxic stress; focuses on the connection between trauma and escalation; and introduces specific de-escalation strategies in working with trauma survivors. Trainees learn about the similarities and differences between stress, crisis, trauma, and toxic stress. They consider some of the challenges trauma survivors experience when expressing their emotions. Participants explore several concepts that can support trauma survivors in de-escalating.
