UrStorytellers Storytelling Training
Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers and in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many training's that is an approved a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue goals of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. Immigrant and Refugee Career Fair
The event is an opportunity to bring together a wide range of employers and organizations from around the city to meet with dedicated job seekers, many of whom are multilingual individuals. Center for Families and Relationships will be providing behavioral health screenings in English and Spanish. Our Children Deserving Services (CDS) program is looking forward to participating in the 2023 Immigrant and Refugee Career Fair. Partnerships between organizations and programs that support these vulnerable communities are critical, and CDS is so proud to be a part of this network.
