Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many trainings approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and the importance of sharing them in community settings.
