The Certified Peer Specialist training introduces learners to the principles of recovery and peer support as the catalyst for transforming individuals' lives. Informed by SAMHSA's Peer Support Core Competencies, learners will develop the foundational skills necessary to help peers thoroughly explore their challenges, and to support the skill-building and decision-making necessary for self-determined recovery.
