Center in the Park Senior Center 5818 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, DC, United StatesThis summit is based on the groundbreaking book by author Tasseli Mckay; Stolen Wealth Hidden Power; The Case for Reparations for Mass Incarceration which broadens the current national dialogue on reparations owed to the many of African descent who have been impacted by mass/generational incarceration. It challenges American society to look at the historical decimation and economic loss to families and communities of African descent geopolitically located in a centuries continual systemic space/role of confinement, containment, and imprisonment.
