Certified Peer Specialist Training

Successful completion of this training will result in eligibility to take the state certification exam (through the PA Certification Board). This course includes SAMHSA’s Core Competencies of Peer Support, OMHSAS Standards of Supervision for Peer Support, Kadushin’s Social Work model on the Functions of Supervision, Reflective Supervision basics, and examines Trauma-informed principles in a supervisory context.
