How We Heal: Film Screening and Mental Health Panel Discussion
Delaware County Intermediate Unit 200 Yale Ave, Morton, United StatesChildren First, in partnership with Healthy News Works, is hosting a film screening about student mental health and trauma. How We Heal is a 20-minute film developed by students to learn ways that people can heal from mental health challenges and trauma. The students who created this film spoke with therapists, pediatricians, a dancer, and an NFL player to discuss what healing is and ways one can heal when facing a difficult time. Adolescent Support Group
NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group this month! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com).
