Overdose Prevention and Reversal Training
*Trigger Warning*: This training involves detailed discussions of drug use, overdoses, and demonstrations on how to use Narcan. If you have any concerns, please feel free to email SUPHR staff at overdose.prevention@phila.gov This training provides background information and data on opioid use, Philadelphia's drug supply, and overdoses in our city. There is also a detailed description of how to recognize and respond to an opioid-related overdose with naloxone, or Narcan. Welcome Home Event
The Rotunda 4014 Walnut st, Philadelphia, United StatesReentry program that works with people coming out of the county jails. We have a group of clients who will be paroled the first week in December and we are planning a "Welcome Home" event with resources to help support them in their transition back into the community. We hope to have a clothing distribution, food give away, benefits counselor on site, printed resources, and more. Merakey Behavioral health will be at event to provide mental health screenings and possible resources for the community.
