Take Back the Night
First Unitarian Church 2125 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, United StatesThis event raises awareness and provides community support around sexual, domestic, and interpersonal violence. The event begins at 6pm with a march (from 36th and Chestnut) to the First Unitarian church. Once there, there is a “Busting the Myths” street action to increase education around these issues and the importance of consent. This year’s theme is “Healing from the Hurt with trauma informed care”. The Faith and Spiritual Affairs 2023 conference will focus on ways to motivate, equip, and heal from all the trauma and violence we experience as a city (or community). We will have workshops, testimonials, speakers, and resources to offer guidance, healing opportunities and emotional wellness.
