Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training
PRCC 1701 W Lehigh Ave, Philadelphia, PA, United StatesStorytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many approved as a required prerequisite for applicants wanting to become a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. Adolescent Support Group
NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group this month! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com).
