Helping Children Cope with Adverse Life Experiences
Online , United StatesIn partnership with CUA, Educational Lawyer Dan Cooper will speak to parents and discuss “Inheritance Trauma” and how it impacts children. The event will take place over Zoom and is free for anyone to attend. Behavioral Screenings will be offered at the conclusion of the workshop provided by Center For Autism.

Ethics and Boundaries Training
In this 3-hour training, participants will be introduced to the most common mental illnesses, their risk factors, most common signs and symptoms and how to provide support to someone who may be experiencing these. Participants will also leave with a list of local resources and will engage in different skill-building activities including groups discussions and role playing. The topic is discussed within a recovery framework and the class is co-facilitated by a Certified Peer Specialist and a MH clinician.
