The Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group is a group to help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know firsthand how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The group is open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. The group is free, confidential, and meets the second Wednesday of each month. Join Mural Arts’ Porch Light program and the City of Philadelphia's Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services for a Community Paint Day! Everyone is welcome to help paint murals designed by Kah Yangni and Ali Williams celebrating the trans and non-binary communities. The event will include music, food, performances, and a gallery of artwork created by Morris Home workshop participants. Resources for Human Development will partner to provide the behavioral health screenings.
