Online , United StatesThe Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group is a group to help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know firsthand how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. It is a collaboration of partners, students, and community members throughout the city and the City of Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS). Multiple community organizations will attend to share wellness techniques to educate young Black girls on how to be physically and emotionally well. Conscious Queens introduces participants to a healthier lifestyle and mindset. Conscious Queens launched in 2022 in response to ongoing gun violence in neighborhoods within Philadelphia.
