SUMMARY:FREE CLASS: Living with Hypertension
DESCRIPTION:ADROP’s Unity Clinic is hosting a free class on living with hypertension! Colin Park\, MD will be leading the session and will review how to prevent hypertension\, the first steps to take in adjusting your lifestyle\, and the medications commonly recommended for treatment. If you’re living with hypertension\, this is a great opportunity to learn more at no cost. It’s also a valuable opportunity for students seeking hands-on learning or providers looking to improve equitable care in their practice. View our flyer attached for more information. \nNo registration is required\, but if you have any questions\, feel free to reach out to Camille Vasconcellos at Camille.vasco@augustinian.org or visit our website at rightsforthepoor.org. \nNote: Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a chronic condition in which the force of blood pushing against the walls of your arteries is consistently too high. Over time\, this increased pressure raises the risk of serious health problems such as heart disease\, stroke\, and kidney disease.
