SUMMARY:Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training in Spanish
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4 hrs. in length\, delivered in a PowerPoint format\, and interactive activities enhance this training. After the conclusion of the training\, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.\nStorytelling es una capacitación facilitada por UrStorytellers en colaboración con el Departamento de Salud Conductual y Servicios de Discapacidad Intelectual de la Ciudad (DBHIDS). Esta capacitación es una de las muchas que se aprueban como requisito previo para los solicitantes que quieren perseguir el objetivo de convertirse en un especialista certificado de pares. Nuestro objetivo es informar a las comunidades de recuperación y religiosas sobre cómo compartir sus historias y\, además\, la importancia de compartirlas en entornos comunitarios.
