SUMMARY:Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling is a training facilitated by Ur Storytellers in collaboration with the City Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. \nOur goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4 hrs. in length\, delivered in a PowerPoint format\, and interactive activities enhance this training. After the conclusion of the training\, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.
