SUMMARY:Ur Storytellers Hispanic Storytelling Training
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4 hrs. in length\, delivered in a PowerPoint format\, and interactive activities enhance this training. After the conclusion of the training\, all participants will receive a certificate of completion. \nLa narración de historias es una capacitación facilitada por UrStorytellers en colaboración con el Departamento de Salud Conductual y Servicios para Personas con Discapacidad Intelectual (DBHIDS) de la ciudad. Esta capacitación es una de muchas aprobadas como requisito previo obligatorio para los solicitantes que desean alcanzar el objetivo de convertirse en Especialistas de Pares Certificados. Nuestro objetivo es informar a las comunidades de recuperación y basadas en la fe sobre cómo compartir sus historias\, además de la importancia de compartirlas en entornos comunitarios. Esta capacitación tendrá una duración de 4 horas\, se impartirá en formato PowerPoint y se enriquecerá con actividades interactivas. Al finalizar la capacitación\, todos los participantes recibirán un certificado de finalización.
