Lot Crew 1st Annual Basketball Tournament

CityWide has joined some local in support , @lotcrewllc, and some local community groups for a 1st annual basketball tournament 🏀⛹🏽 LOT CREW FIRST ANNUAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT SPONSORED BY STATE REPRESENTATIVE JARED SOLOMON, CITYWIDE COMMUNITY COUNSELING SERVICES AND THE PHILADELPHIA POLICE DEPARTMENT - Games will start after introductions at 1:30. Each game will be 20 minutes with 10 minute halves. Two police officers will play within each game, and winner gets a prize in the end. We will do raffles at the end of each game, you may win something really nice😯 - These teams are first come first serve so if you have a 5 please have them sign up FAST! Jerseys are provided by the sponsors of the teams! @chriskennedy1001 will be our special guest MC, BRING YOUR BEST GAME! Citywide Community Counseling Services will partner and will provide free behavioral health screening and related resources.

UrStorytellers Online Storytelling Training

Storytelling Through Health and Wellness is a training that is facilitated by UrStorytellers and in collaboration withthe City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many training's that has been approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue goals of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This 4 hr training is delivered in a power point format, interactive activities also enhance this training. At the conclusion of the training, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.

This, and our Multi-Cultural Vendors Bazaar will serve our attendees. We are exploring conducting an on-stage panel discussion about violence/murder and the need for mental health resources. 8/13- JFK will be providing Behavioral Health screenings 8-14-Warren E Smith will be providing Behavioral Health screenings
