SUMMARY:Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many that are approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goal of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4 hrs. in length\, delivered in a PowerPoint format\, and interactive activities enhance this training. After the conclusion of the training\, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.

SUMMARY:Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group - 2nd Wednesday
DESCRIPTION:The Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Groups help loss survivors cope\, connect\, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know\, firsthand\, how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The groups are open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. No pre-registration is required\, but you are welcome to send an email to let us know that you might attend.
