SUMMARY:2024 Latino Health Collective Annual Retreat
DESCRIPTION:This year’s retreat will bring together a diverse audience of professionals and leaders from various local agencies and organizations. Our theme is “Strengthening Connections to Improve Latino Well-Being\,” focusing on how social determinants such as policies\, practices\, institutions\, neighborhoods\, and communities affect Latino health and mental health. \nLHC is a network of over 60 Latino-serving organizations\, including researchers\, city officials\, policymakers\, public health professionals\, medical experts\, and community leaders in the Philadelphia region. Our mission is to advance health equity for the Latino community in the Greater Philadelphia Area through dialogue\, advocacy\, and collaboration. \n
