Trauma-Informed De-Escalation Training 833 Chestnut Street, Suite 1100, Philadelphia

This training equips participants with an understanding of the cycle of escalation and with strategies for preventing escalation as well as defusing tension.As a result of this workshop, learners will be able to: identify what causes and contributes to escalation, list strategies for maintaining safety, and use Verbal Methods for defusing tension. In addition, participants will understand the role of self-awareness in de-escalating tension.

The Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group seeks to help loss survivors cope, connect, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know firsthand how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide.
