Mental Health First Aid (ADULT)


Mental Health First Aid is a skills-based training that teaches people how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge in adults ages 18 and over. The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it builds mental health literacy, providing an action plan that teaches people to safely and responsibly identify and address a potential mental health or substance use challenge.


Family Wellness Resource Fair

Eastwick Branch Library 2851 Island Ave, Philadelphia

This event will take place outside at the Eastwick Library (weather permitting), if there is inclement weather, event will occur inside the library (for more information about indoor precautions, please see Phila Health Dept) The event will have health/wellness focus, as well as a focus on anti-violence, gun violence prevention – this event offers behavioral health screenings by Child Guidance Resource Centers, and a chance for families to meet local organizations and get information about the supports and resources offered.
