What’s A Smoker To Do? A Lunch-and-Learn Session
November 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
Did you ever think that it might be a good idea to cut back or quit smoking? Most smokers do, and then decide that “well, maybe not, I like it too much” or “I will someday, but not now. It’s not the right time.” This interactive session will help you to develop an understanding of the nature of that ambivalence, why some people are more hooked on cigarettes than others, the physical, behavioral, and emotional aspects of tobacco use, and effective strategy for cutting back or quitting.
Tony Klein, MPA, NCACII has over 30 years of administrative, clinical, and training experience in addiction services. He is known for his work in the development of a recovery-oriented tobacco intervention model designed for the behavioral health setting and provides consultation, training and technical assistance to community providers, municipalities and state agencies.
**Please bring your lunch. Light refreshments will be provided.**
