Join the Free Library of Philadelphia for a groundbreaking discussion about Nikole Hannah-Jones’s “The 1619 Project” observing the 400th anniversary of the beginning of American slavery.

It aims to reframe the history of the United States, placing the consequences of slavery and the contributions of black Americans at the very center of the story.

Join us February 14th to discuss chapters 1-10 & February 28th discussing chapters 11-18 at 7-9pm via zoom.
