Sexual Assault and Harassment Symposium: Ending the Cycle Where you Live, Work, and Learn
The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission is in partnership with DBHIDS, and First Person Arts to provide a symposium scheduled on May 17th from 2-9pm at the Loews Hotel. The symposium will feature a plenary with Jennifer Storm, 4 workshops, and is highlighted by special guest speaker, Tarana Burke – leader of the #MeToo Movement – who will provide remarks that evening at 7 p.m.

The focus of the event will be to:
1. Educate and investigate issues around sexual harassment
2. Increase knowledge of resources for communities to address sexual harassment
3. Assist community members with courses of action to address sexual harassment
4. Address trauma associated with sexual harassment and available resources
