The goal of the ORN regional summits is to bring the community together in person for a full day to discuss opioid, stimulant, and other substance use in the community and to identify ways the ORN can provide free training and education to support efforts that mitigate the impact of those substances. For the April summit, we chose to focus on xylazine.

We want to hear from community members about the gaps and needs in the region and how we can partner together to support these training and resource needs to more effectively impact the epidemic in this area.

Everyone is welcome; those already working in prevention, treatment, and recovery, legislators and policymakers, faith-leaders and the faith-based community, family members, healthcare providers, health departments, educators, and community-based organizations.
