The Department of Public Health trains and deploys the Philadelphia Medical Reserve Corps (MRC), a group of 2,600 volunteers who serve during major emergencies and large-scale events. This volunteer opportunity is open to both medical and non-medical volunteers. Register for the next training to learn more about the MRC, the critical role public health plays in our city, and the opioid crisis in Philadelphia.
