Matters of Life and Death: Racism, Health, and the Global Struggle for Black Lives (FREE LUNCH)

This session will help to focus on the intersection of “place, race, and health” and examines the role of structural racism (i.e. concentrated economic disadvantage and residential segregation) in shaping health and racial/ethnic health inequalities among Blacks with a particular focus on the United States and Brazil. This will help to make the invisible, visible; mobilize data for advocacy and action; and ensure that our dialogue around racism and health inequalities is global. FREE LUNCH!!!
