The Medical Examiner’s Office and Uplift Center for Grieving Children have partnered to facilitate peer support groups for those affected by a death due to substance use or overdose. They are offering two separate groups that will operate at the same time, one for adults and one for children ages 5+. Individuals or families can participate in one or both groups. Groups will be open, judgment-free environments where individuals can share as little or as much about personal grief while connecting with others who are going through similar experiences.
Please RSVP to Laura Vargas by phone at 215-685-7408 or by email at Laura.Vargas@phila.gov.
