Caregiver Coping During and After the Pandemic
August 14 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
In the past few months, family caregivers have been challenged by fears of infection, increased isolation, and confusing messages from politicians and public health officials about what’s safe and what’s not. In this webinar by a clinical psychologist and author, we’ll talk about general coping strategies for dealing with the pandemic and reopening, including stress management techniques, strategies for managing family disagreements, and strengthening partnerships with care managers and healthcare professionals. We’ll also share and discuss ideas for safely increasing activities outside the home, as well as Philadelphia Corporation for Aging Caregiver Support Program and available community resources to aid in care.
