Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many trainings that is approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goals of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 3 hrs. at length, delivered in a power point format, and interactive activities enhance this training.
