The training is approximately 1.5 hours with an additional 15 minutes for questions. \nYou can choose to have Narcan discreetly mailed to you after the training. We aim to prioritize our Narcan supply for those with the least access to Narcan and those most likely to witness an overdose. SUMMARY:UrStorytellers Online Storytelling Training
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many trainings that is approved as a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue the goals of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 3 hrs. at length\, delivered in a power point format\, and interactive activities enhance this training. After the conclusion of the training\, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.
