DESCRIPTION:Join us for a month-long celebration\, Recovery is for Everyone: Every Individual\, Every Family\, Every Community \nObserved each September\, National Recovery Month gives us an opportunity to increase public awareness about addiction recovery. It is an important moment for us all to celebrate victory\, promote and support evidence-based treatment and recovery practices\, and honor the strong\, proud recovery community and the service providers and communities who advance recovery in all forms. \nThe Council of Southeast Pennsylvania and our program\, Pennsylvania Recovery Organization – Achieving Community Together (PRO-ACT)\, are proud to present events throughout September that demonstrate that “Recovery Works!” and every person can be part of making Recovery possible. \nWe are walking together on Sunday\, September 10th at 9:00 am at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia\, and planning Celebrations! in Bucks\, Chester and Montgomery Counties as well! \nRegistration begins: 8:00 am\nProgram begins: 9:00 am\nWalk Kickoff: 10:00 am \nThen Join in Celebrating PRO-ACT’s 25th Anniversary on the Parade Grounds until 1:00 pm
