SUMMARY:Philly HEALs Grief-Friendly Holiday Gathering
DESCRIPTION:We hope you can join us this Friday for our annual grief-friendly holiday gathering! We know the holiday season is hard with grief thrown into the mix. It’s OK if you don’t feel festive… we can just be together. \nIt will be from 5-8pm at West Kensington Ministry (2140 N Hancock St.\, Phila PA 19122) \nWe’ll have activities including cookie decorating\, a gingerbread person contest\, paint-your-own ornaments\, and holiday origami! \nCommunity partners Operation In My Backyard\, RHD’s Community Support Board\, and Unity Recovery will offer harm reduction resources and support. \nIt’s a potluck\, feel free to bring an entrée\, snack\, or dessert to share! \nWARM CLOTHING DRIVE – We would love to be able to donate any extra coats\, gloves\, hats\, or other items to folks that may need them. It’s a cold season and we can’t just rely on love to keep everyone warm! \nRSVP at the link provided for the Holiday Gathering! (but if you don’t RSVP\, just know you can still show up!) \nYou’re welcome to bring family\, friends\, neighbors\, kind people you meet on the train… anyone who needs a space to grieve and connect with others.
