SUMMARY:UrStorytellers Storytelling Training
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many approved prerequisites for applicants who want to become Certified Peer Specialists. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories and the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4 hours long\, delivered in a power point format\, and interactive activities enhance this training. After the training\, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.

SUMMARY:Supporting Youth Recovery CRS Training Program
DESCRIPTION:The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania\, Inc. (The Council) will offer the Supporting Youth Recovery: Peer Paraprofessional Certificate in Supporting Youth Recovery program. Unique to this program is the enhanced version of Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) approved standardized Recovery Specialist (RS) Training to prepare peer paraprofessionals to include addressing the unmet behavioral health needs of children\, adolescents\, and young adults with a substance use disorder (SUD) and their families to provide RS to youth and young adults in recovery from a SUD and their families.
