SUMMARY:SDP Mental Health Resources Fair
DESCRIPTION:May is Mental Health Awareness Month. As the school year comes to a close\, and we think about the last few years and all that has occurred\, it is important that we take time to reflect and assess our own level of self-care and mental health needs. \nOn May 26th\, from 2 pm to 6pm in the Atrium at 440\, we The School District of Philadelphia will have a Mental Health Resources Fair. This event is an opportunity for our district community\, staff and students to learn about Mental Health Resources that are available in our city by visiting tables staffed by our partners\, while also enjoying games\, prizes and music. The hope is that this collaborative event will leave guests feeling uplifted and informed with resources that they can utilize themselves and/or take back to their peers\, colleagues and schools. \nThe Children’s Crisis Treatment Center (CCTC) will be present at this event and will have a table with information for children and families regarding mental health services provided for children as young as 18-months of age through 13 years of age. CCTC will have clinical staff present to conduct Behavioral Health Screenings to help determine of evaluation for mental health services would be appropriate.
