SUMMARY:Ur Storytellers Storytelling Training
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers in collaboration with the City Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many approved as a required prerequisite for applicants wanting to become a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4hrs. at length\, delivered in a PowerPoint format\, and interactive activities enhance this training. At the conclusion of the training\, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.

DESCRIPTION:NAMI Philadelphia is excited to launch its Adolescent Support Group this month! This group is for ages 12-17 and meets every Wednesday at 5 pm on the third floor of the Scattergood Building of Friends Hospital. Participants must complete a registration form and provide a signed permission slip before attendance. This group will be facilitated by Ailkhees Ponton (aponton@namiphilly.org) and John Pillar (jpillar@bdo.com). No es un requisito que los participantes hablen únicamente inglés ni español. El grupo es un espacio más dirigido a apoyar las necesidades culturales de los latinxs y su proceso de duelo.
