SUMMARY:Ur Storytellers Story Telling Training
DESCRIPTION:Storytelling is a training facilitated by UrStorytellers and in collaboration with the City of Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual DisAbility Services (DBHIDS). This training is one of many training’s that is an approved a required prerequisite for applicants who want to pursue goals of becoming a Certified Peer Specialist. Our goal is to inform the recovery and faith-based communities on how to share their stories in addition to the importance of sharing them in community settings. This training will be 4hrs. at length\, delivered in a power point format\, and interactive activities enhance this training. At the conclusion of the training\, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.

DESCRIPTION:The Survivors of Suicide Loss Support Group is a group to help loss survivors cope\, connect\, and work toward healing. Trained group facilitators are suicide loss survivors who know firsthand how difficult it can be to find your way after losing someone to suicide. The group is open to anyone 18 years or older who is grieving a loss due to suicide. \nThe group is free\, confidential\, and meets the second Wednesday of each month.
