SUMMARY:Family Friendly Rittenhouse Square Holiday Tree Lighting Event
DESCRIPTION:Philadelphians near and far are invited to kick off the holiday season at the annual Rittenhouse Square holiday park lighting on Wednesday\, December 7th. Attendees will enjoy a variety of music including performances by the Philly Pops\, the Greater Philadelphia Choral Society\, T-VOCE\, and the String Theory Charter School chorus. Complimentary refreshments will be provided by Parc\, the Rittenhouse Hotel\, and Scarpetta\, as well as free giveaways and selfies with Santa Claus. \nMore than 400 Philadelphia residents typically gather to watch this magical event. The holiday park lights continue to be illuminated every night through the end of December\, courtesy of IBEW Local 98 who will be generously donating their time and expertise to hang and install the lights\, turning Philadelphia’s most beloved square into a winter wonderland. LCN Communications will also be sponsoring the all-ages event.
