Please join us in honoring the beautiful souls that we have tragically lost to substance use in the Philadelphia area. PhillyHEALs’ 2022 Memorial project will consist of an in-person pop-up memorial garden in Center City Philadelphia, as well as an ongoing virtual memorial site. Supporting Youth and Young Adults Training (Sponsored by DBHIDS)

This 8-hour course provides the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct CPS work with young adults. Its design incorporates young adult learning strategies and principles, promotes critical thinking, and self-directed and experiential learning to replicate the practice of recovery and peer support. The course centers on the recovery model of behavioral health and on the core values and practices guiding peer-to-peer emotional and psychological wellness.
