Family Day is an outdoor event for the community that offers resources and fun for all ages. It is an annual event sponsored by the Philadelphia PA section of the National Council of Negro Women. Activities include health educational resources, entertainment, free clothing, and snacks.
Everyone is welcome. We will have health screenings, COVID vaccines, community vendors and raffle prizes, DJ, fun activities for the kids, food, and drinks. Allied Associates in Mental Health will partner providing behavioral health screenings.
Our community mental health organization (Interact) is teaming up to run this Roxborough “back to school bash” where we will provide free school supplies and materials to families in the community. We will also have all of our mental health staff present to conduct free mental health screenings to spread awareness and engage in advocacy efforts. IntercommunityAction will provide behavioral health screenings.
