LGBTQ+ Training

This 6-hour training will enhance your comprehension and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues, including and not limited to terminology, overall stigmas and issues, solidarity models, and power dynamics. This course can be applied to CPS. To qualify for this scholarship funded training, you must: (a) Be a Philadelphia resident; (b) Identify as a Peer or person with lived experience. Self-Care Training (DBHIDS Sponsored)

This two-hour webinar explores different self-care strategies with a focus on peer support work and recovery. Through the use of structured presentations, group discussions and practical activities, this dynamic, engaging and interactive session invites participants to understand the impact of stress and build skills to thrive in their daily lives. Participants will be given the opportunity to identify and evaluate their own strategies, select specific tools from a list of activities, and create a personal self-care plan.
