CPS Supervisor’s Virtual Training

This 12-hour course lays the foundation of Supervision in a Peer Support Environment, grounded in understanding of CPS roles and Recovery Values. This course includes SAMHSA's Core Competencies of Peer Support, OMHSAS Standards of Supervision for Peer Support, Kadushin's Social Work model on the Functions of Supervision, Reflective Supervision basics, and examines Trauma-informed principles in a supervisory context. The course will be held virtually via Zoom. Self-Care Training (DBHIDS Sponsored)

This two-hour webinar explores different self-care strategies with a focus on peer support work and recovery. Through the use of structured presentations, group discussions and practical activities, this dynamic, engaging and interactive session invites participants to understand the impact of stress and build skills to thrive in their daily lives. Participants will be given the opportunity to identify and evaluate their own strategies, select specific tools from a list of activities, and create a personal self-care plan.
